September part 1

I love September! Love, love love...especially this year.
Almost the moment we enter September, the weather changed from chilly to breezy. Flowers pops up everywhere, and you can really smell spring in the air. Lots of wedding, in this beautiful season. and my beautiful friend kath, choose the first week of this season to wed her beloved sweetheart Justin, in a beautiful, traditional church, situated in the leafy suburb of Hunters Hill.

( nervous last min practice before all guest arrived!! )

After watching Prince William and Princess Kath wedding back in April, and the beautiful song that their choir present, I have this strong urge to organize a choir group to sing at the wedding. I really dunno who it will play out as we have our limitation :p, regardless, I try anyway. and I kept it a secret from Kath initially because i really am not sure if we will end up embarrassing her on her big day?! So i went and select a few of her friends and initially, they all protest that the song i choose for them was too hard, but i push on, and we all end up falling in love with the song. ( i guess!! ). Anyway, long story short, I was very very nervous on that day, but i guess singing in an old church helps tremendously and we did well. I think the bride and groom enjoyed it as well. May the Lord bless you two and keep you, always.

and because of the choir, i ended up not able to sit at the aisle!!! damn it!
So when the bride came in while the groom sang, ( yeah, very very romantic!! ), i and my huge bump climb up the pew to catch a glimpse of the bride!!! She is so pretty and watching her walking down and aisle is quite something!

It was a very beautiful ceremony. The bride and groom have a lot of guest to entertain, so we only ended up with this one photos!! I can't wait for the professional one to be ready though!!

Reception followed shortly after the ceremony, and i just fall in love with the table setting!! Lots and lots of personal touch. For example, both my friend kath and justin are scientist, so they personally made these little test tube gifts for all their guest, and for those who help out with the wedding, hand written thank you note with personal choice of chocolate :) ( mine was a dark one, and husband got a milk one!! You truly know us well, hahaha!! ).

Entree 1: Prawn with mango salad

Entree 2: Duck with potato cake

and i completely forget to take a pic of the main before i dig in, please excuse this hungry pregnant women!! I have the biggest piece of salmon and husband have sirloin steak. yum. but the best is yet to come!!!

DESSERT!!

OMG, yummy! to this day i still crave for this.
